Dr. Larry W. Foy, Pastor
Larry W. Foy is a Christian theologian, social activist, author, and pastor. He has served as a theology faculty member at Westmont College, Elmhurst College, and adjunct at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. With more than three decades of service in higher Christian education, local church ministry, community organizing, and justice advocacy, Dr. Foy is eminently qualified to lead our congregation. He persued a terminal degree in religion and ethics from the University of Southern California, the M.A. degree in theology from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the B.A. degree in religion and philosophy from North Central College. A native of Louisiana, he currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife (Sharon Ann). They are the proud parents of three adult children. Dr. Foy believes that the primary mission and task of the church is to bear witness to God's gracious act and work in Jesus of Nazareth by virtue of demonstrating concrete acts of love, compassion, and justice too all, but especially among the poor and marginalized. |

Rev. Florine Bristo, Pastor of Counseling & Care Florine Bristo has served in the nursing field for over three decades. She is a registered R.N. and skilled anesthesiologist. More important, she is a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and Christian minister. A masterful and skilled bible teacher, Pastor Flo holds a M. A. in theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and has been approved for hospital chaplaincy, pastoral, and grief counseling by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). . Chad Ricks, Pastor of Christian Education Chad Ricks is an avid reader and student of the Word. He holds a B.S. degree in nursing from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. He and his wife, Marsha, are both Registered Nurses. Pastor Ricks is currently pursuing the Masters of Divinity degree, with an emphasis in Christian Education, at Golden Gate Theological Seminary. His desire is to live out God's call upon his life through serving in full-time Christian ministry. Roderick Hines, Pastor of Worship Arts Rod Hines is one of Southern California's and the U.S. most gifted music artist and worship leaders. He has trained numerous voices for God's celestial choir on earth. Pastor Rod has nurtured to health any number of church choirs that, otherwise, would have remained weakened and stifled by a "watered down" Gospel message. Rod Hines is a graduate (M. Div.) of San Francisco Theological Seminary. |
